NCSG is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Tim Bennett to the role of Vice President Health, Safety and Environment for NCSG and its affiliated companies.
Tim has over 20 years of increasingly senior safety experience, most recently as HSE Manager overseeing the Industrial and Pipeline Divisions for North American Construction Group. He has also been Manager of Projects and Employee Safety responsible for HSE for major multi-billion dollar pipeline projects in North America for Enbridge Pipelines as well as a Safety Supervisor for five years in the trucking industry for Gibson Energy. Tim has implemented safety managements systems that integrate operational procedures and hazard assessments with safety procedures.
Additionally, Tim presides as Chair of the Occupational Heath & Safety Council for the Government of Alberta and has done so since 2007. Tim holds several professional safety designations: Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), a certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC), Transportation Safety Director, Construction Safety Officer, and Safety Codes Officer (SCO). His formal education includes an OHS Certificate from the University of Alberta and an Executive Competency Program from the University of Alberta School of Business.
On his own time, Tim is a casual professional Firefighter EMT with the City of Spruce Grove and is a Dangerous Goods Technician. Tim and his family reside in Spruce Grove.
