NC Services Group Ltd. (“NCSG”), along with its subsidiaries Northern Crane Services Inc. and A1 Crane Services Ltd., announced its acquisition of Trans Tech Contracting Inc. (“Trans Tech”).  Trans Tech is Canada’s largest independent heavy hauling company. Trans Tech was formed by four partners in October of 1996 to supply specialized transportation services to the oil & gas, construction, and forestry industries of western Canada. Trans Tech's head office is in Edmonton (Acheson), Alberta, and has operating authority in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Northwest Territories.

As part of the transaction, NCSG welcomes Dan Duffy, George Rodgers, Terry Colban, Glenn Dales and all of the Trans Tech employees to NCSG and looks forward to providing lifting solutions to Trans Tech’s existing customers. Trans Tech will be a wholly owned subsidiary of NCSG.
