NC Services Group, “NCSG” and its subsidiaries Northern Crane Services, Trans Tech Contracting, and Mullen Crane and Transport, is pleased to announce that it has hired Ted Redmond as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, and member of the Board of Directors. Ted brings a wealth of experience to NCSG, having recently served as the Executive Vice-President of the Energy Products and Services Segment, the largest segment of McCoy Corporation, a Toronto Stock Exchange traded Company.

In addition to his leadership position with McCoy, Ted has over 25 years of senior management experience, both in Canada and the U.S., with leading international companies including; Rockwell International, The Boston Consulting Group, and McCoy Corporation. In his new role with NCSG, Ted will work hard to execute on the strategic vision of the Company to be the lifting and heavy haul solutions provider of choice in Western Canada and the United States.

In his previous roles, Ted has had experience running businesses offering services to the oil sands, conventional oil and gas, refining/petrochemical industries as well as public utilities. These experiences and contacts will be invaluable to Ted in his new role as CEO of NCSG.

Ted’s academic achievements are equally impressive as he graduated with a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Alberta, a M.S. in Engineering from the University of Toronto and a MBA from California based Stanford University.

Ted is an Edmonton native and lives there with his family.
