NC Services Group, “NCSG” and its subsidiaries Northern Crane Services, Trans Tech Contracting, and Mullen Crane and Transport have been in a state of growth throughout 2012, adding over 30 mobile cranes and over 35 lines of hydraulic platform trailers to its fleet to meet the demand of their customers throughout the western North American energy corridor. Throughout 2012, NCSG has invested over $25 million in its crane and heavy haul fleet.

NCSG’s recent mobile crane additions include 8 all terrain hydraulic cranes (120 ton – 275 ton capacity), 14 rough terrain cranes (50 ton – 130 ton capacity), and 6 crawler cranes (300 ton – 650 ton capacity). These recent purchases help NCSG’s Northern Crane Services’ ability to service its growing number of secured long-term contracts and expected projects throughout western Canada, especially in oil sands development.

With 2012’s crane additions, NCSG now offers over 220 mobile crane units with capacity up to 1350 ton. In 2012, American Cranes and Transport magazine ranked NCSG 10th among the top 100 crane owning companies in North America.

In an effort to grow its heavy haul services business, NCSG has added over 35 lines of Goldhofer and Aspen hydraulic platform trailers and at least a half a dozen truck tractors to its fleet. Now with over 65 truck tractors, 200 trailers, and 170 lines of hydraulic platform trailers, NCSG has secured its position as dominant player in the specialized transport services industry, complementing the NCSG’s crane service offerings and establishing NCSG as the lifting and heavy haul solutions provider of choice in North America.

Investing in its equipment and people, NCSG will continue to pursue the many upcoming projects throughout the western North American energy corridor with a commitment to safety and customer service at its forefront.
